Hey! My name is Saúl (Saw-ool). I'm a music composer and producer based in Austin, TX. You may have hit mute on my music featured on film trailers, commercial advertising, and television advertisements for networks such as HBO, NatGeo, Showtime, Netflix, ABC, MSNBC, and CNN.

I'm originally from Caracas, Venezuela, and a Berklee College of Music graduate — Contemporary Writing & Production, 2012 — where I also served as a mentor in 2021 and 2022. For the past 10 years I've worked as a staff composer at Videohelper Music & Sound Design Library, writing music that gets placed, licensed, and put in front of millions of viewers.

Along the way I've picked up 9 industry award wins and 10 nominations across the PMA Mark Awards, Music + Sound Awards, and Production Music Awards, between 2018 and 2025 — recognition for the same kind of work I'll be helping you sharpen in this session.
